Cricket South Africa (CSA) has officially announced the home schedule for the 2025-26 international season, featuring a packed calendar of men’s, women’s, and development fixtures. The Proteas Men will host the West Indies for a five-match T20I series, while the Proteas Women will take on Ireland and Pakistan in bilateral series across formats.
CSA chief executive officer Pholetsi Moseki highlighted the significance of these fixtures, particularly in the lead-up to the T20 World Cup.
“The SA20 will also take place before the T20 International series against the West Indies, with both providing valuable game time ahead of next year’s T20 World Cup,” Moseki said.
Moseki also emphasized the importance of the women’s series, stating, “We are looking forward to seeing our women take on Ireland and Pakistan. These tours not only provide our team with strong competition but also give our fans an opportunity to watch the Proteas Women compete at their favourite venues across the country.”
While the men’s international window is shorter than usual due to outbound tours to Australia, England, Pakistan, and India, CSA has also placed a strong focus on development tours.
“We are pleased to be hosting national development tours, with South Africa A tours a regular feature in our summer fixtures, along with the SA Under-19 tours, which are crucial for our national pipeline,” Moseki added.
