It’s been a rough introduction to Mumbai Indians captaincy for Hardik Pandya. Pandya, who won the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League with the Gujarat Titans, moved from the Titans to Mumbai in the off-season, and it doesn’t look like anyone has been happy about the move.

Having been booed on his return to Gujarat, in the season opener, the all-rounder found no love in Hyderabad, where to add insult to injury, Mumbai conceded a record total to the Sunrisers.

If he was hoping to get some love in his first home game in Mumbai, however – he has since learned that he was dead wrong.

It started at the toss.

It continued when he misfielded

And then they definitely booed him when he dropped a catch.

Mumbai are winless in their first three, and it looks like it is going to be a LONG season for Pandya.
