Gujarat Titans secured pace sensation Kagiso Rabada at ₹10.75 crore (~R22.47 million) alongside emerging quick Gerald Coetzee at ₹2.40 crore (~R5.02 million). Kolkata Knight Riders strengthened their lineup by acquiring Quinton de Kock (₹3.60 crore; ~R7.52 million) and speedster Anrich Nortje (₹6.50 crore; ~R13.59 million).
Lucknow Super Giants welcomed explosive batter David Miller (₹7.50 crore; ~R15.68 million) and stylish batter Aiden Markram (₹2 crore; ~R4.18 million). Mumbai Indians enlisted promising batter Ryan Rickelton (₹1 crore; ~R2.09 million), while Punjab Kings invested in the towering all-rounder Marco Jansen (₹7 crore; ~R14.63 million).
Completing the impressive list of auction buys, Rajasthan Royals signed young talent Kwena Maphaka for ₹75 lakh (~R1.57 million), Royal Challengers Bangalore acquired pace leader Lungi Ngidi (₹1 crore; ~R2.09 million), and Sunrisers Hyderabad also picked versatile all-rounder Wiaan Mulder (₹75 lakh; ~R1.57 million).
Post-auction, three more South Africans were parachuted into squads as injury replacements:
Dewald Brevis joined Chennai Super Kings for ₹2.2 crore (~R4.62 million), while Rajasthan Royals brought in Lhuan-dre Pretorius (₹30 lakh; ~R630,000) and Nandre Burger (₹3.5 crore; ~R7.35 million) to bolster their depth following player withdrawals.
