It’s been eighteen years since Herschelle Gibbs became the first international cricketer ever to hit six sixes in one over. It was a perfect storm of circumstances as Gibbs, one of the premier ball-strikers in international cricket, faced part-time leg-spinner Daan van Bunge in Warner Park, St Lucia. Warner Park is one of the smallest grounds in international cricket, and it showed as there was nowhere for van Bunge to hide.
